poor at large folders/files

This app is perfectly fine for anyone transferring < 5 gigs of data. I have a NAS with over 2TB of data and i regularly transfer 30-50 gigs back and forth between my laptop and NAS. There is a bug in this application currently where any large transfer will eat up large segments of OSX cache (under /var/private) and result in my mac going from 70 gigs of free space to 1 gig. Closing the app freezes this cache but this is still a huge problem and renders it virtually useless for large transfers.
